JOSEPH A. GOLDSTEIN graduated from the George Washington School of Law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with General Honors from the University of Chicago with a major in Modern European History. He received a Master of Arts degree from Teachers College, Columbia University in Secondary School Social Studies Education.
Mr. Goldstein is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia.  He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.

Mr. Goldstein practices in the areas of labor and employment law in both the public and private sector.  He handles labor and employment matters dealing with hiring, firing, contracts, racial discrimination, gender discrimination, sexual harassment, disability discrimination, as well as a host of other related areas.  Mr. Goldstein also conducts training seminars for employers dealing with a variety of issues, including, but not limited to, proper workplace investigation tactics, assessing threats from troublesome employees, and how to actively defend against meritless litigation by vexatious employees.
